AeroSur

The DGCA India CPL Pathway (Without Multi-Engine Rating) at AeroSur is an integrated flight training programme designed specifically for Indian students aspiring to become professional commercial pilots. Conducted under DINACIA, an ICAO Contracting State, this programme provides structured commercial pilot training in Uruguay while preparing students to meet the applicable requirements for DGCA India Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) conversion upon completion.

Students receive English-medium instruction, comprehensive ground school, practical flight training, and professional pilot development in an international training environment with excellent year-round flying conditions. DGCA conversion requires meeting applicable Indian regulatory requirements, including educational, medical, examination, and licence conversion requirements.

Program Overview

The AeroSur DGCA India CPL Pathway (Without Multi-Engine Rating) is designed to take aspiring pilots from little or no flying experience to becoming qualified Commercial Pilots under internationally recognised ICAO standards. The programme combines structured theoretical instruction, practical flight training, simulator sessions, and operational skill development to prepare graduates for careers in commercial aviation. Students receive extensive training in aviation regulations, aerodynamics, aircraft systems, meteorology, navigation, flight planning, aviation safety, human performance, radio communication, commercial flight operations, cross-country navigation, night flying, emergency procedures, and professional decision-making. Throughout the programme, experienced instructors provide personalised guidance to ensure students develop the knowledge, discipline, and operational competence expected of professional pilots. Graduates complete the programme with a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued under DINACIA and a strong foundation to complete the DGCA India licence conversion process, enabling them to pursue opportunities with airlines, charter operators, corporate aviation, and other commercial aviation sectors.
