PRIVATE PILOT

Flying is very easy if you follow proper instruction. Anyone over 17 years of age, after having passed the medical examinations established by DINACIA, can fly.

From the start, you'll spend most of your time flying as a student pilot alongside your instructor. The lessons will focus from the beginning on familiarizing yourself with the aircraft, communications, and the flying itself.

The Private Pilot Course consists of no less than 40 flight hours, divided primarily into pre-solo and post-solo flight training. The post-solo phase includes navigation, night flying, instrument flying, and finally, preparation for the practical exam.

The holder of a Private Pilot License, in accordance with current regulations, may act as Pilot in Command or as Co-pilot of an aircraft whose Type Certificate of Airworthiness requires more than one pilot, provided that they act without remuneration and on non-commercial flights, except for those operations specifically authorized by DINACIA. They may not perform aerobatic or formation flights.

AeroSur offers a theoretical and practical course that will teach you everything you need to know to operate independently once you have obtained your certification. This will allow you to plan, evaluate, and conduct all types of visual flights in the future.

TOOLS

The Instrument Flight Course is normally undertaken once the student has more than 100 flight hours, in order to be able to take the practical exam with no less than 150 flight hours.

It consists of a theoretical and a practical phase. The latter comprises 40 hours of flight under Instrument conditions, that is, without external references, relying solely on the aircraft's instruments.

It is one of the most demanding courses, given the amount of study, student commitment, and specialized practice that must be acquired to master the aircraft without visual references.
